I've got some teachers using Jott to convey homework assignments and also have some teachers letting their students use gcast to record interviews for projects.
I've been using Gabcast to add audio to a large number of projects. Currently, my students are using Flash to create lip-syncing self-portraits. They called into gabcast to add their own voice to the project. It was fast and easy. Best part was we didn't need to find a microphone and the audio was instantly converted into an mp3. It was awesome. The students loved it.
